Tara is an Occupational Therapist offering Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) to help individuals develop functional skills for everyday life, while also enhancing motivation and participation in meaningful daily activities.
Currently completing her Equine Assisted Therapy studies at Ulster University, Tara has been passionate about horses her entire life. She understands the profound and unique impact that being around horses and nature can have on our wellbeing — a belief that inspired her to pursue specialist training in this field.
Through her training and background, Tara provides Equine Assisted Occupational Therapy and learning opportunities for individuals experiencing challenges in sensory processing, emotional regulation, or motor function.
Beyond her EAT practice, Tara has extensive experience in traditional Occupational Therapy across hospital and community settings, supporting children and young adults with a wide range of needs — including learning and developmental disabilities, motor coordination difficulties, sensory processing differences, and neuromuscular conditions affecting muscle tone.

Tara is also available for private assessment and occupational therapy services across the north east alongside her Equine Assisted Therapy role.
